# Tune-Ups & Maintenance Plans

We tune up furnaces, air conditioners and heat pumps so they are ready before the first cold snap or hot week.

Most breakdowns happen when a system is working hardest, in the first cold week of winter or the middle of a humid summer. A tune-up lets a technician find worn parts and small problems while there is still time to fix them on your schedule. We offer **furnace maintenance**, **A/C maintenance** and **heat pump maintenance**. A furnace visit includes a safety check. While we're there, we can also give you an honest assessment of your system and how much life it has left. We don't try to sell a new system when the old one works fine. If it needs a repair, we'll explain it plainly, and most furnace problems we can repair in one day. Our vans are stocked to handle many common parts on the spot. ## Common questions

When should I schedule a furnace tune-up?

Fall, before you rely on heat every day, is the usual time. For air conditioners, spring works well, before the first hot stretch.

Will a tune-up lead to a sales pitch for a new system?

No. We don't upsell a new system when the old one works fine. If something needs repair or replacement, we'll show you why.

Do you maintain all brands?

Yes, we service all brands of furnaces, air conditioners and heat pumps.
